Content Operations Terms & Conditions
Terms governing our managed content update and website maintenance service.
Last Updated: November 19, 2025
These Terms and Conditions apply to all customers utilizing the WebOps Content Operations Service.
1. Introduction
This document governs the WebOps Content Operations Service. These terms are provided in addition to our General Terms & Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), and Privacy Policy. By using the Content Operations Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Scope of Service
The Content Operations Service covers minor WordPress updates and changes. This service is available exclusively for websites hosted by WebOps.
Eligible tasks are generally those that can be completed in 30 minutes or less, including but not limited to:
- Adding or editing pages, posts, or WooCommerce products
- Configuring existing plugin and theme settings (where no custom code is required)
- Adjusting menus, widgets, or block editor arrangements
- Updating SEO metadata or applying analytics tracking settings
Exclusions
The following tasks are strictly excluded from the scope of this service: graphic design, custom development, extensive plugin configuration, theme customization requiring code modifications (PHP/CSS/JS), and direct database manipulation.
3. Service Availability
The Content Operations Service is available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST), 7 days a week.
We target a standard 1-hour response time for all submitted requests. The actual time to completion for any task will vary depending on the complexity and volume of the requested changes.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure timely execution of requests, the Customer must:
- Provide clear, detailed, and unambiguous instructions for the required changes.
- Supply any necessary access credentials if third-party integrations are involved.
- Provide all final content, copy, and media assets to be added or edited.
Failure to provide complete information or necessary assets may result in delays, and the task may be placed on hold until all required materials are received.
5. Fair Usage Policy
This service is subject to reasonable usage limits to ensure fair resource allocation among all our clients. WebOps reserves the right to limit, delay, or deny requests that are deemed excessive in frequency or clearly out of scope for the agreed service level.
6. Limitation of Liability
WebOps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Content Operations Service. Our maximum aggregate liability under these terms is strictly capped at the equivalent of one month's service fee for the affected service.
Furthermore, we make no absolute guarantee of successfully resolving all requested changes, particularly if they conflict with your site's architecture or exceed technical feasibility within the service limits.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this specific service component by providing written notice. Upon termination, there will be no refund for the current billing period.
WebOps reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Content Operations Service immediately in the event of any violation of these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Changes to Terms
WebOps may modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting to this page. It is the Customer's responsibility to periodically review these terms. Continued use of the Content Operations Service following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
