This service is available only for customers hosting their websites with WebOps Hosting.
These Terms & Conditions apply exclusively to the Analytics and Tag Management Service and are intended to clarify the scope of the service, responsibilities, and any limitations. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
The Analytics and Tag Management Service includes the following features and capabilities:
- Professional setup and configuration of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Integration of marketing platform tracking pixels and tags (Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads conversion tracking, and similar platforms)
- Custom event tracking setup for business-critical actions such as form submissions, phone calls, downloads, and purchases
- Tracking implementation for up to 8 marketing platforms and conversion sources
- Monthly accuracy validation and monitoring to ensure tracking remains functional
- Quarterly optimization reviews to improve tracking performance and insights
- Annual strategy consultation to align tracking with your business goals
- Privacy-compliant configuration in accordance with applicable data protection regulations
- Technical support for tracking modifications, troubleshooting, and platform additions
The Analytics and Tag Management Service does not include the creation of marketing campaigns, advertising management, data analysis consulting beyond the scope described above, custom dashboard development, or direct access to third-party advertising accounts. For activities outside the scope of this service, please contact us for additional support options.

3. Service Availability and Response Times
Technical support for the Analytics and Tag Management Service is available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, 7 days a week, with 24/7 availability for emergency issues that affect tracking functionality. Requests submitted outside regular business hours will be addressed on the next available business day.
We strive to handle all requests promptly according to the following guidelines:
- Emergency tracking failures: 1 hour response
- New platform or tag additions: Completed within 2-3 business days
- Modifications to existing tracking: Completed within 1-2 business days
- General inquiries and questions: 1 hour response during business hours
Response times may vary based on the complexity of the request, volume of concurrent requests, and availability of required access credentials or information from you.
Support Hours: Available Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST. Emergency issues receive 24/7 response.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure the successful implementation and ongoing functionality of your tracking setup, you must provide the following:
- Administrative access to your website and WordPress dashboard
- Access credentials to your Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and marketing platform accounts, or authorization for us to create these accounts on your behalf
- Clear information about marketing platforms, campaigns, and conversion events you wish to track
- Timely responses to requests for information, approvals, or access that may be required to complete setup or modifications
- Notification of any changes to your website, marketing platforms, or tracking requirements that may affect service delivery
Failure to provide the required information, access, or timely communication may result in delays or an inability to complete the requested tasks. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and notifying us immediately if you believe your accounts have been compromised.
Your Responsibilities: Provide administrative access, clear tracking requirements, and timely communication for successful implementation.
5. Service Setup and Implementation
Upon enrollment in the Analytics and Tag Management Service, a one-time setup fee applies to cover the initial configuration, testing, and validation of your tracking implementation. The setup process typically takes 3-5 business days from the receipt of all necessary access credentials and information.
During setup, we will:
- Create or configure your Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager accounts (if needed)
- Install and configure tracking codes on your website
- Set up marketing platform pixels and conversion tracking
- Implement custom event tracking as specified in your plan
- Validate and test all tracking to ensure accurate data collection
- Provide you with access to your analytics dashboard and basic usage guidance
You will receive a notification once setup is complete, along with documentation about what has been configured and how to access your analytics reports.
Setup Process: 3-5 business days for initial configuration, testing, and validation. Includes account setup, tracking installation, and documentation.
6. Monthly Monitoring and Quarterly Reviews
As part of your ongoing service, we perform monthly accuracy checks and validation to ensure your tracking continues to function correctly. These automated and manual checks help identify and resolve issues before they impact your data quality.
Quarterly optimization reviews include:
- Assessment of tracking accuracy and data quality
- Recommendations for improving tracking coverage or insights
- Identification of tracking gaps or opportunities for enhancement
- Performance optimization to maintain site speed while tracking effectively
Annual strategy consultations provide an opportunity to align your tracking setup with evolving business goals, discuss new marketing initiatives, and ensure your analytics infrastructure continues to serve your needs effectively.
Ongoing Support: Monthly accuracy checks, quarterly optimization reviews, and annual strategy consultations.
7. Data Privacy and Compliance
We implement tracking configurations in accordance with industry best practices for data privacy and security. Our service includes privacy-compliant setup designed to meet requirements under regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and similar data protection laws.
However, you remain ultimately responsible for ensuring your website's overall compliance with applicable privacy regulations, including maintaining an appropriate privacy policy, obtaining necessary user consents, and implementing required consent management systems. We can provide guidance and implement technical configurations to support compliance, but we do not provide legal advice regarding regulatory requirements.
All data collected through analytics and tracking tools belongs to you and remains under your control through your Google Analytics, marketing platform accounts, and other connected services. WebOps Hosting does not access, store, or utilize your analytics data except as necessary to provide support, troubleshoot issues, or fulfill service obligations.
Privacy Compliance: We implement privacy-compliant tracking configurations, but you remain responsible for overall website compliance and user consent management.
8. Fair Usage Policy
The Analytics and Tag Management Service is subject to a fair usage policy to ensure that all customers receive prompt and efficient service. While the service includes tracking for up to 8 marketing platforms and ongoing support, we reserve the right to limit or deny service to customers who:
- Exceed reasonable usage levels through excessive modification requests that go beyond normal marketing operations
- Request tracking implementations that require extensive custom development beyond the scope of standard analytics and tag management
- Misuse of service through repeated requests for work that should be handled by marketing agencies or specialized consultants
- Submit requests that violate our Acceptable Use Policy or applicable laws
If your tracking needs exceed the scope of the included service, we will work with you to understand your requirements and may recommend upgrading to a custom solution or engaging specialized services.
Fair Usage: Service subject to reasonable usage limits. Excessive modification requests or misuse may be limited or denied.
9. Service Limitations and Exclusions
The Analytics and Tag Management Service focuses on technical implementation and maintenance of tracking infrastructure. The following activities are specifically excluded from the service:
- Marketing strategy development, campaign planning, or advertising consultation
- Data analysis, interpretation, or reporting beyond basic setup guidance
- Management or optimization of advertising campaigns in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other platforms
- Creation of custom analytics dashboards or complex data visualization tools
- Integration with marketing automation platforms, CRMs, or other business systems beyond standard tracking implementations
- Compliance audits or legal consultation regarding data privacy regulations
- Recovery or reconstruction of historical data lost due to tracking failures outside our control

Service Exclusions: Marketing strategy development, campaign management, and custom analytics dashboards are not included.
10. Third-Party Platforms and Services
The Analytics and Tag Management Service relies on third-party platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other marketing services. While we implement and maintain tracking configurations on these platforms, we do not control these services and are not responsible for:
- Changes to third-party platform features, APIs, or requirements that may affect tracking functionality
- Service interruptions, data loss, or technical issues originating from third-party platforms
- Policy changes or account restrictions imposed by third-party platforms
- Costs associated with third-party platforms, including advertising spend or premium feature subscriptions
We will make reasonable efforts to adapt your tracking setup to accommodate changes in third-party platforms, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service when changes are beyond our control. You are responsible for maintaining active accounts in good standing with all third-party platforms used in your tracking implementation.
Third-Party Dependencies: Service relies on Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and marketing platforms. We are not responsible for third-party platform changes or costs.
11. Website Performance and Compatibility
We implement tracking using modern, performance-optimized methods designed to minimize impact on your website speed. However, the addition of any tracking codes inherently adds some processing overhead. We strive to maintain your site performance while providing comprehensive tracking coverage.
The service is designed for WordPress websites hosted on WebOps Hosting infrastructure. Tracking implementations may not be compatible with all WordPress themes, page builders, or plugins. If compatibility issues arise, we will work with you to find suitable solutions, which may include:
- Alternative implementation methods to work around conflicts
- Recommendations for replacing incompatible plugins or themes
- Custom development at an additional cost if standard solutions are not feasible
You are responsible for notifying us before making significant changes to your website theme, page builder, or core plugins that may affect tracking functionality. We recommend coordinating such changes with our team to ensure tracking remains operational.
Compatibility: Performance-optimized tracking for WordPress sites. May require theme/plugin adjustments for full compatibility.
12. Limitation of Liability
WebOps Hosting will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Analytics and Tag Management Service, including but not limited to:
- Loss of business opportunities or revenue due to tracking failures or inaccurate data
- Marketing campaign performance issues resulting from tracking implementation
- Decisions made based on analytics data or reports
- Penalties or fines resulting from privacy regulation non-compliance
- Data loss or corruption in third-party analytics platforms
Our liability will be limited to the amount paid for the service during the month in which any claim arises. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data collected through analytics and tracking implementations, as data quality depends on numerous factors including third-party platform functionality, user behavior, and browser configurations.
This limitation of liability applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and survives the termination of the service agreement.
Liability Cap: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for service during the month in which any claim arises. We do not guarantee data accuracy or completeness.
13. Modifications to Service
WebOps Hosting reserves the right to modify the Analytics and Tag Management Service, including features, capabilities, and pricing, with reasonable notice to active customers. We will notify you of significant changes at least 30 days in advance when possible.
If modifications materially reduce the scope or value of the service, you may terminate your subscription within 30 days of notification and receive a pro-rated refund for any prepaid subscription period.
Service Changes: We may modify the service with 30 days notice. Material reductions may allow termination within 30 days.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate the Analytics and Tag Management Service by providing written notice. The following provisions apply to service termination:
- If you cancel the service, no refunds will be provided for the current billing period except as provided in the 30-day money-back guarantee
- Upon termination, your tracking implementation will remain functional on your website, but ongoing monitoring, support, and optimization will cease
- You retain full ownership and access to all analytics accounts, data, and tracking configurations
- WebOps Hosting reserves the right to terminate or suspend the service if you violate these Terms & Conditions or any other applicable policy
- In the event of termination for violation of terms, no refunds will be provided
We recommend maintaining documentation of your tracking setup and ensuring you have administrative access to all analytics accounts before canceling the service.
Termination Terms: Either party may terminate with written notice. No refunds for current billing period. You retain ownership of analytics accounts and data.
15. Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for the Analytics and Tag Management Service. If you are not completely satisfied with the service within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund of subscription fees paid (excluding setup fee).
To request a refund under the money-back guarantee, please contact our support team through your client portal. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of your initial service activation date. This guarantee applies only to first-time subscriptions and does not apply to renewals or reactivations.
30-Day Guarantee: Full refund available within 30 days of initial subscription. Excludes setup fees and renewals.
16. Changes to Terms
WebOps Hosting reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active customers of material changes to these terms.
It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically for updates. Continued use of the Analytics and Tag Management Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the modified terms, you may terminate the service as described in the Termination section.
Policy Updates: We may modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
